With the arrival in May, 2012 of Haitian children Elie Pierre (age 4) and Kurtis Petion (age 18 months), began a close affiliation between GoL NEO and Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH) in Akron, Ohio. Surgical teams at ACH performed successful heart surgery on both children. ACH has committed to providing care for additional Haitian children and working with St. Damien’s Hospital in Haiti.
